In today’s noisy, fast-moving environment, maybe you’ve seen that even the most powerful ideas can lose their impact as they travel among employees, customers, and other stakeholders. It’s tempting to believe that if a message is clear once, it will stay clear. But in reality, even when everyone is well-intentioned, messages can evolve, dilute, and sometimes change beyond recognition.
What’s the key to shaping your messages so that they’re clear, compelling, and meaningful enough for others to share them accurately and enthusiastically?
We discuss this question with Jim Karrh, PhD. He’s an advisor, speaker, and coach to businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Jim is the author of the book, The Science of Customer Connections: Manage Your Message to Grow Your Business. Jim is also a faculty member in the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. He has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, along with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from the University of Florida.
If you can tie into your passion and translate that into a passion for helping other people, that’s where the magic will happen. – Jim Karrh
