In this often-polarized world, how can we change the narrative on gender equity to create meaningful conversations between men and women that can drive positive change in the world?
This week, our conversation with speaker and author Kori Reed centers on the importance of changing the narrative on gender equity. As the the author of the book, “Men In The Middle: Conversations to Gain Momentum with Gender Equity’s Silent Majority,” she emphasizes that the world’s challenges are too big to let gender limiting beliefs hinder innovation and progress.
Kori worked for nearly twenty-five years in large, complex Fortune 500 companies, including Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, PepsiCo, and Conagra Brands, earning progressively responsible positions from manager to vice president. Over more than a thirty-year career, her areas of expertise encompassed strategic corporate communication, public affairs, human resources, and integrated corporate social responsibility.
The world’s challenges are too big to let gender-limiting beliefs get in the way of innovation for unlimited possibilities to better ourselves, our families, and our communities — Kori Reed
